Oct 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has been hard for the Nirvana fans after the suicide of the legendary Kurt Cobain in 1994. Since then, the band underwent several turbulences, resulting into a split, where even one of its co-founders Krist Novoselic, who was apparently indispensable with Nirvana and Kurt Cobain, decided to create yet another band “Foo Fighters”. However, even that idea was never executed and he formed the new band band “Sweet 75″ in 1995, which could never achieve the status of “Nirvana”.
“Foo Fighters”, which was a new hope for all the fans of “Nirvana” less successful than Nirvana. Krist Novoselic left the band as he thought that it was being reduced to a “Reincarnation” of Nirvana, and lacked individuality. However, the latest reports can only bring a smile to all “Nirvana” fans, as the Ex- drummer Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic will soon reunite to relaunch their faded hopes, in the form of a new album, by their band “Foo Fighters”. The album will be released in 2011. Dave Grohl told BBC, that Krist Novoselic will make a guest appearance for the bass. The album also has yet another nostalgic significance, as it will be produced by Vig, the same person who produced their cult album “Nevermind”, to establish the dbutante Dave Grohl, with the iconic alternative trio. All the fans of “Nirvana” will get a treat which they have been longing for since 1993, when the two recorded “You Know You’re Right”, their last song together.
The album is currently half-way through its recording and have recorded just seven songs, and has not yet been named. However, they have already announced a show at Buckinghamshire’s Milton Keynes Bowl for July 2-3, 2011. Another exciting piece of news says that the band is about release a film, which will be shot in their studio.
