Darshan does item number
December 23rd, 2009 - 4:51 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )Actor Darshan, after dropping actress Ragini Dwivedi from his forthcoming film just because she danced in an item number for Gokula, has done an item number himself for Ashok Kashyap’s film, Sihi Muttu. The song finished shooting at Samy’s Dream Land.
Kashyap wanted Vivek Oberoi to do the song but he couldn’t come to the sets. So, he finally settled on Darshan for the cameo. Prem Kumar, Dhyaan, Komal Kumar and Dimple Chopra play the leads in the film.
The film started rolling on 31st March, 2008. However, the film had been stalled for one year and nine months. According to the director, it is because they had been hunting for a Bollywood actor.
The item song promises to be the highlight of the film. It started shooting last Wednesday and went on for four days. Almost 40 lakhs have been spent on this song.
