Jan 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The expectation of the fans of iconic superhero character Batman is huge from the upcoming Batman flick named ‘Dark Knight Rises’. The director Christopher Nolan who tasted massive success with The dark Knight a few years back has a challenge in store. He will have to make a sequel that lives up to the expectation of the viewers. There have been some changes in the acts of the sequel to the Dark Knight as well. While Christian Bale is returning to essay the role of the Saviour of Gotham City he will not clash with his arch enemy Joker, a character that was immortalized by the late actor Heath Ledger in the previous film. In this film Batman’s enemy will be Bane a role which will be essayed by Tom Hardy. The handsome actor worked with the director in his previous hit Inception, which was released last year.

It has been reported that some parts of the upcoming Batman flick will be shot in Los Angeles. Sources close to the film director said the shooting will commence this summer. The producer of the film, Warner Bros set up a new production office for the upcoming movie at Los Angeles Center Studios. The director had an office here when he was shooting for Inception. It is not known how much of the film will be shot in Los Angeles though. The previous Batman flick was shot in Chicago and Britain.

It will be interesting to see Anne Hathaway putting on the shoes of cat woman and displaying her hitherto unseen grey side on reel! For Christian Bale this movie can act as a career booster after the success of ‘The Fighter’.
