Batman has made it mark by going past the Sony Pictures Entertainment big sales graph bar by hitting super sales in just a weekend. Batman surpassed Sony Pictures Spiderman 3 by an astronomical $4.2million. This tossed the debutant heights aloft to become the top grossing box office of the weekend in the history of the United States box office weekend parameters. Batman made an exclusive profit to its builders within a short time frame shocking both pundits and bookmakers. In total Batman made a whooping $253 million over the weekend compared to the $218 million made by the previous record holder ‘”Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” two years ago.
The Dark Knight has made ripples in Hollywood. Excitement has remained high while box office tracking companies were jolted by this sudden shock. According to Media by Numbers, ‘The Dark Knight’ overshadowed everything, but a rising tide lifts all ships, this was just a great weekend for the entire industry.”
The Batman sequel’s success was cheered in many corners of Hollywood, and raised eyebrows in some corners. Questions are still renting, ‘they don’t want to believe that “The Dark Knight” had truly surpassed “Spider-Man 3, Dark Knight” sold about 21.94 million tickets, compared with 21.96 million for the web slinger. However, final box-office figures for the weekend will not be known until today, when actual results are reported. The final figures are less than Sunday’s estimate figures, although sometimes they are higher.
