Dec 09, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Danny Cahill was declared the winner of the eighth season of the reality show ‘The Biggest Loser‘ on Tuesday, after the Oklahoma musician lost around 239 lbs. Moreover, not only did Danny Cahill lose such an enormous amount of weight but by winning the show, he also earned the prize money of $250,000. In order to win the title of Biggest Loser, Danny Cahill had to defeat Rudy Pauls, who was the runner up.

The winner of the popular television show was announced live in a special two hour, in which 39 year old Danny Cahill emerged as the ultimate winner. When the eighth season of the show was aired in the month of September this year, Danny Cahill weighed something around 430 pounds. In the following months, after undertaking a vigorous weight loss initiative, he lost around 239 pounds- which enabled him to win the title of the Biggest Loser.

At the same time, the finale episode also turned out to be an extremely entertaining experience for all the viewers as all the contestant of the season, who were eliminated earlier were again brought back for the last time. Host Allison Sweeney declared that finalist Rudy Pauls and Danny Calhill would be joined by Amanda Arlauskas in the finale, who was chosen by public voting. However, at the end it was Danny Cahill who stole the show and became an inspiration for millions of other obese individuals by his spectacular efforts for losing weight.

‘The Biggest Loser’ is a show that mainly focuses on obese individuals who try to lose as much weight as they can with the aim of winning the prize money.
