Danny Boyle hides Oscar trophy in shoe box

London, Jan 27 (IANS) Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle has admitted that he stores his Oscar academy award in a shoe bag, under his bed.Boyle won the best director Oscar for his hit “Slumdog Millionaire”.
“It’s in a shoe bag in a box under the bed. I used to have it out (on display) and get up every day and you just can’t look it - it’s like an elephant in the living room, you cannot avoid it,” dailystar.co.uk quoted him as saying.
Boyle could soon have another Oscar to add to his collection as he has been nominated this year for the best adapted screenplay category for gritty survival drama “127 Hours”.
