Wayne, Jan 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ashley Homes has been found guilty of simple assault, as she pulled the hair of a cast member of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’. They had a fight as a fashion show, where Ashley became enraged and pulled Danielle Staub’s hair. Wayne Municipal Court Judge Lawrence Katz on Friday said that Ashley Holmes must pay a fine of $189, which also includes $33 in court costs. Danielle Staub had claimed that Holmes had threatened her, and even ripped her hair extensions out in a fight at the North Jersey Country Club in November.

She had also filed complaint against Teresa Giudice of Montville and Jacqueline Laurita of Franklin Lakes, who is Holmes’ mother. But later she withdrew these complaints, as these two had just cursed and threatened her, and were not involved in a physical tussle with her. Judge Lawrence Katz said that Ashley Holmes was guilty of one count of assault because of the complaint filed by Danielle Staub. “I was glad the cameras didn’t show and the proceedings took place like any other proceedings in courts.” Prosecutor Tom Melani said.

Holmes’ attorney, Scott Bocker, said on Friday “Ashley was found guilty of the simple assault charge and the judge dismissed the harassment charge. The judge was very sympathetic and I want to thank the prosecutor; when it came down to sentencing Ashley, Mr. Melani also expressed sympathy for Ashley and asked the judge to be extremely lenient.”
