Feb 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Danielle Campbell managed to give quite an impressive performance when the Disney Channel Original movie “StarStruck” featuring the teenage star premiered last night. The movie was immensely enjoyed by the viewers and was ultimately successful in living up to the expectations of the large number of audiences who had tuned in to watch the much anticipated flick. Although this was Danielle Campbell’s first role as the protagonist of a television movie, the teenage actress surely managed to deliver an impressive performance.
Anticipation was running high about the movie, which showcased the story of a Hollywood pop icon Christopher Wilde played by Sterling Knight and a Midwestern girl Jessica Olson, played by the 15 year old actress. The movie takes a rather interesting turn when the two meet by a chance encounter, leaving the celebrity pop star confused about whether he wants to pursue his glamorous career or follow his heart. After facing the challenges of stardom which seem to pose a major hurdle in their relationship, Christopher comes back to Jessica and also invites her on a real date, which she invariably accepts. Overall, the flick which tracks the story of love blossoming between the two young characters turns out to be a huge treat for the viewers.
Meanwhile, it was the Danielle Campbell who managed to steal the show completely with her successful portrayal of the role. The teenager had supposedly landed her first break in a hair salon where she accompanied her mother and was asked to audition for an agency which later chose her to star in a commercial. Since then she has appeared in numerous commercials and also guest starred on ‘Prison Break”.
