Daniel Vosovic Emerges Winner On ‘Project Runway All Stars Challenge’

proDaniel Vosovic was chosen the winner of the “Project Runway: All Stars Challenge” that was shown on Thursday night from 8pm on Lifetime. The occasion was the premiere of the 6th season of this hugely popular show.

Some might have lost track with the sudden switch of the show,from Bravo to Lifetime, but so was the switch from backdrop New York to L.A. Producers of the Weinstein Co. paid a confidential sum to NBC Universal to move the show from NBC’s Bravo to Lifetime channel which is owned by The Walt Disney Co. and Hearst Corp. However the Season 7 will again be shot in NYC reportedly.

The person who won loads of accolades on this special show was none other than the gracious Daniel Vosovic (Season 2 contestant) after he was pitted against contenders Chris March (Season 4 contestant), Sweet P (Season 4 contestant), Korto Momolu (Season 5 contestant) who came in the final 4. Daniel had won second position in Season 2. He won $100000 which he will not use for charity like Rick Bayless the winner of ‘Top Chef Masters’, who would invest his prize money for Fronterra Farmers. Daniel also won a trip for two to Paris and an offer to feature on the Ell Magazine.

The last one to stand in the competition also won a prize money of $25000 from L’Oreal. At 11pm there was a 1/2 hour dedicated to a fashion show where the Runway models flaunted designer wears.

Dione Von Furstenberg judged Vosovic’s red carpet creation as “perfect”. Nicole Kidman also appeared as guest judge. The show had a special focus on women’s interest. Tim Gunn gave his patronage as mentor and guide to the designers.Vosovic is a graduate from Grand Rapids Community College and has a degree from Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC. He is openly gay.
