852New York, Apr 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lifetime aired Patricia Cornwell’s original movie “At Risk” which has Daniel Sunjata in the lead role along with Andy MacDowell, Annabeth Gish Diahann Carroll, and Ashley Williams. “At Risk” happens to be the very first movie based out of the novel by the master crime writer which was also a bestseller in UK.

Indeed “At Risk” is a treat for all thriller lovers as anticipated. It offers a chilling drama baked in a different flavor. What’s notable here is the development of the plot which holds immense potential to throw in stiff competition for any major Hollywood movie of the same genre. Reportedly, most the cast members are new but that didn’t stop them from offering a performance that is sure to win many applauds.

Patricia Cornwell had been in talks with Lifetime for the crime series and finally she had taken up the burden of being the executive producer for the same. “At Risk” narrates an intriguing story line which revolves around the lives of two major characters in this crime drama which has Boston as its backdrop. District Attorney Monique Lamont played by Andy McDowell and investigator Win Garano portrayed by Daniel Sunjata. The story picks up speed with the unraveling of mysteries and latent truths which fumbles out with the investigation of an age old murder case reopened by Attorney Monique Lamont. She is helped by her college friend Win Garano who is now an investigator.

As the two go ahead in the search of truth hidden behind the case files, they are introduced to never told before facts about the murder which makes the entire plot complicated and twisted into several knots that are almost impossible to untangle. The sequel to “At Risk” called “The Front” will be aired on April 17 which will have the same cast.
