Daniel Radcliffe Willing To Grow Out Of Harry Potter’s Image

tryJuly 31, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Daniel Radcliffe who has almost become synonymous with the child wizard Harry Potter is in no mood to remain so for the rest of his life and career as it seems from his latest statements. The actor has been acting in the film franchisee almost for a decade now. He has attained widespread publicity for portraying the character of the teen wizard and the last installment of the film franchisee is awaiting release. The actor who recently turned 21 and celebrated his birthday in grand style has also signed a movie named ‘The Woman In Black’.

With the film The Woman In Black the actor is confident that he can break away from his image of the teenage heartthrob. While the last Harry Potter film named ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I’ will be released soon the actor is pinning his hope on the film he has signed. He made his stage debut in the controversial play Equus which also got him rave reviews earlier. Now that the actor has stepped into adulthood he wants to do more serious and matured roles. He said so in a recent interview.

Jane Goldman who is the scriptwriter of the upcoming film ‘The Woman In Black’ thinks that the actor may be young but the role is suitable for him. The film has been adapted from a classic novel by Susan Hill. The news has created sensation among the Harry Potter fans. Some of them would love to see him as the wizard while there are others who think he should try other stuff and grow out of the image.
