Los Angeles, April 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Daniel Radcliffe’s opinion counts very much when it comes to the Harry Potter franchise. Last year it was announced that the popular boy wizard story will see its final release this year but Radcliffe says author J.K Rowling had other ideas.

Radcliffe who plays Harry Potter in the franchise said when he heard rumors about the new story being written, he contacted Rowling about it. According to him, he asked if it’s true and urged her to stop it.

In an interview with Celebuzz on Monday, Radcliffe said that, “She wrote back that she was so pleased with my performance in Harry Potter 7: Part 1 that as a reward, she promised to never write another book about Harry.”

The finale of the franchise is expected to be released this year. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” is due to hit the theaters this summer. The franchise has over the years become the most successful movie franchise in the history of Hollywood.

The British actor is not so crazy about the upcoming royal wedding. In the interview, he revealed that he will be watching the highlights of the event later rather than watching the whole ceremony on TV.
