Daniel Radcliffe To Play A Vampire In Special ‘Simpsons’ Episode

October 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe will be next seen onscreen in the role of a vampire claims reports circulating in the media. And before you arrive at any conclusion, he is not playing the lead in the next “Twilight” saga, but will come as a vampire to the Halloween celebrations in a special episode of “The Simpsons”. Daniel Radcliffe will be a part of a special episode to be screened as part of the ‘Treehouse of Horror’ series in “The Simpsons”.
If reports are to be believed, the 21-year-old “Harry Potter” star will play the role of a vampire named Edmund, a direct inspiration from vampire Edward Cullen of “Twilight”, and will be present at the annual Halloween party of the Simpson family. Media reports claim that Edmund is a spoof of the Edward Cullen act of Robert Pattinson.
The special episode of “The Simpsons” will go on air at the end of this month. Daniel Radcliffe’s Edmund will be seen falling in love with a girl named Lisa, also present at the Halloween celebrations. However the vampire Edmund unfortunately falls ill after taking a bite out of the patriarch of the Simpson family, Homer, the bite resulting in a sudden increase in the cholesterol levels in his cold blood!
