Washington, Jan 5 (ANI): Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has donated his first pair of glasses to a special exhibition created to mark the horrors of the Holocaust.
The actor, whose mother is Jewish, has given his first pair of glasses, which were worn by him when he was six years old to commemorate National Holocaust Day on 27 January (08), based on photographs of mounds of glasses left at Auschwitz by victims of the atrocity.
The 18-year-old gave an oval, grey metal-framed pair of specs to the Respectacles Project, reports Contactmusic
Other celebrities donating their spectacles to the exhibit include comedian Stephen Fry, Yoko Ono and Jerry Springer.
The work will soon be on display in Liverpool, England. (ANI)
