Daniel Day-Lewis to play Sherlock Holmes’ nemesis?

Los Angeles, Aug 2 (IANS) Actor Daniel Day-Lewis has reportedly been signed up to play Sherlock Holmes’s nemesis, Prof Moriarty, in the sequel to the Guy Ritchie movie.
Rumours were abuzz that Brad Pitt was in the running to take on the role for the follow-up, but a new report suggests Ritchie has hired Day-Lewis for the role opposite Holmes, played by Robert Downey Jr, reports imdb.com.
The currently untitled movie is expected to hit cinemas next year.
