Washington, Jan 14 (ANI): Daniel Craig is in talks with DreamWorks and Jon Favreau to play the lead in “Cowboys and Aliens” after Robert Downey Jr. walked out of the flick.
If Craig accepts the deal, he will play the role of Jake Johnson in the film, which is based on the 2006 graphic novel about a group of Apache Indians and Western settlers who decide to forget their differences after an alien spaceship crash-lands in their city.
Reps for Craig said nothing could be said if Craig would give a nod to star in the movie helmed by Favreau, reports Variety mag.
Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof have written the flick. (ANI)
