Dancing With the Stars 2009 Winner is Donny Osmond

Los Angeles, Nov 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Dancing With the Stars 2009 Winner is Donny Osmond. He is the 52 years old American musician, singer and entertainer. Donny Osmond performed with his professional partner Kym Johnson. The dance champion made everyone cheer and dance in the show by performing his magnificent dance moves.
Mya wasn’t the crowd favorite at all, but she was named as the most natural dancer of the event by the judge, and Kelly got the third place in the show.
The host of the Dancing With the Stars, Tom Bergeron announced the winner name Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson. Donny Osmond was quiet happy at the result and he came on the stage with his wife. His sister Marie Osmond, was a former participant on the same show.
Donny created another record of sorts, as he is the oldest winner in the dance show history. Donny Osmond is now in the glorious company of past winners such as Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Helio Castroneves, Shawn Johnson, Brooke Burke, and Kristi Yamaguchi.

Although I like Donny Osmond, this is not a popularity contest - there is no way he was the better dancer throughout this entire competition. He got better as time went on but there were people that were far better and was eliminated from the competition. Truth be told DWTS and American Idol are no more than popularity contests the best performers don’t always Win. It is sad and very UNFAIR.

Sorry I am a dancer myself and I feel Mya deserved to win, Donny talent is singing in vegas..not dancing

I agree mya should have win, I didn’t watch the final, but it is sad that nothing is fair anymore.
