Oct 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Dana Delaney is warning women against using the face freezing Botox injections to try and fight aging, after an injection in 2003 left her with her “droopy eye”. The 54 year old actress stated that she had the procedure done in 2003, under the advice of her dermatologist.

Since the doctor was not experienced in Botox injections, he hit a nerve, leaving her with a permanent droopy eye. She shared her ordeal with Prevention magazine, “Seven years ago, I had never heard of Botox. My dermatologist was saying, ‘You should try it.’ He injected my forehead, hit a nerve, and created a huge hematoma.

“The nerve has been dead ever since. It affected the muscle in my right eye, so my eye has started to droop a little bit.”

The actress has since sworn off cosmetic work stating that she would rather grow old gracefully. “I won’t do it, no. My hat’s off to Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s so smart, and she doesn’t dye her hair or anything. And Meryl Streep still looks like herself. Diane Keaton, too. I think the really great actresses don’t worry about that kind of thing.”
