Big Brother 10 of the U.S is the version of Big Brother,which is a reality television series and lasts around three months. The winner of Big Brother10 of this season has been announced. Dan Gheesling, the 25-year-old school teacher from Dearborn, won Big Brother 10. Gheesling won $500,000 prize beating Robert Garrett, the Los Angeles bartender and was awarded with $50,000 for the second place. The finale was on September 16, 2008.
The series was the tenth edition and in the House Guests were viewed by the television viewers 24 hours a day and each week, one or more HouseGuests will be evicted by votes of the remaining HouseGuests until the winner is left.
Apart from Dan Gheesling , the other contestants were Angie Swindell who was evicted on Day 24, April Dowling, evicted on the day 45, Brian Har who works in the telecommunications industry, Jerry MacDonald evicted by Dan Gheesling on Day 66. Jessie Godderz, Keesha Smith, Libra Thompson, Michelle Costa, Bryan Ollie, Lorenza Leona “Renny” Martyn and Steven Daigle.
Dan, won the votes by 7-0 and is the only winner in Big Brother history to win by a unanimous vote. Dan was even voted by the judges and his first four votes also included the host . Julie Chen, April, Michelle and Ollie. Dan Gheesling , was also the choice of the judges.
In the grande finale, Keesha won the $25,000 jury prize.
