Dame Judi Dench ‘asks’ for credit for parrot sounds in Cranford

The Oscar-winning actress plays Miss Matty Jenkyns in the BBC show, but also had an unlikely cameo doing some parrot noises.
“They needed to overdub the parrot’s noises and we were going to call it back in for the day, but it seemed ridiculous to me - I was in the same scene and knew exactly what he did and what he said so I said I’d do it, and I loved it!” the Mirror quoted her as saying.
She joked: “It was actually quite demanding making parrot sounds and I don’t think I got a credit for it. I should have a word with my agent.” (ANI)
