Dame Elizabeth Taylor misses jewellery boutique opening due to illness
December 14th, 2009 - 2:53 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, December 14 (ANI): Dame Elizabeth Taylor has been forced to skip the launch of her Hollywood jewellery boutique after being inflicted with flu.
The 77-year- old actress was scheduled to attend the opening of her Beverly Hills store.
A spokesman for the star informed the crowd, waiting for three hours to see her, that she could not make it due to illness, reports the Daily Express.
Taylor had said last month that she has “outlived so many who have prematurely buried me”.
She even had an emergency surgery in October to fix a leaky heart valve. (ANI)
