‘Damarukam’ release pushed to Oct 19 (Southern Movie Snippets)
September 8th, 2012 - 4:49 pm ICT by IANSChennai, Sep 8 (IANS) Akkineni Nagarjuna’s new film “Damarukam” was slated to release Oct 12, but it has now been postponed to Oct 19.
The reason behind the delay has not been revealed.
“Damarukam” is a Telugu socio-fantasy film directed by Srinivasa Reddy. It is loosely based on the novel “The Immortals of Meluha” and features Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Model-turned-actor Ganesh Venkataraman will be seen in a prominent role.
The music of the film, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, will be released Sep 10 in Hyderabad. The audio release will take place amidst bevy of personalities from the Telugu film fraternity. Aditya Music has grabbed the audio rights of the film.

‘Baadshah’ teaser to be launched Sep 24
The teaser of Junior NTR-starrer Telugu film “Baadshah” will be launched Sep 24.
The film’s teaser will be launched on the occasion of director Srinu Vaitla’s birthday. Producer Bandla Ganesh decided to launch the teaser as a birthday gift for the 40-year-old director.
“Baadshah” also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Kelly Dorjee in key roles. While S.S Thaman has composed the music, international R&B; singer Akon, who crooned Bollywood chartbuster “Chhammak challo”, will sing a song in the album.
