Los Angeles, Nov 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Teenage cutie pie star Dakota Fanning is trying hard to get the world to see her evil side too and not typecast her in the ‘romantic’ category only. She is evil-personified in the new movie “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” She goes into the depth of the role and even conceals her familiar pale blue eyes behind sinister scarlet lenses and forgoes her usual broad smile for a stony stare in her new film.

“I think the highlight of playing Jane was getting to wear that costume and to have the red contact lenses — I was really excited about that — and getting to play an evil character,” Fanning said in a recent press conference at the lush Four Seasons Hotel.

“It’s something I really wanted,” she said. “I think it’s really great to have that balance of the completely normal life and a completely abnormal life. I didn’t see a reason I wouldn’t be able to do both.”

In the evil movie, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, the teenager Dakota Fanning all of 15 years plays one of the most feared vampires in the “Twilight Saga.” She looks innocent but she can change colors like the chameleon.

For all those fans who have a lot of expectations from the movie in terms of Dakota Fanning’s screen presence, you are all going to be terribly disappointed, as she has just got 2 minutes of screen presence towards the tail end of the movie. She has been liberally splashed in the movie posters but the same can’t be said about her duration in the much-awaited movie.
