July 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Crystal Renn is reportedly very upset after discovering that her photos for a recent ad have been retouched to make her look thinner. She appeared on a talk show on July 22 and said that she was absolutely shocked to see the pictures. She said that the photo made her look like a size 2 whereas she is a size 10 in real life. She has also admitted that she does not want her pictures to be seen by young women because she wants to set the example for anorexic girls.

The photos of Crystal Renn were taken by photographer Nicholas Routzen as a part of the Passion for Fashion campaign. He has admitted to reshaping her and said that he would have done it to any other photograph or model. He explained that his job was to make women look beautiful. Crystal Renn said that slight adjustments are understandable but in the photo her body has been completely changed. She said that she believes and wants others to believe that beauty is not in the pant size. She admitted on the show that she has recently lost some weight after staring exercise, but the photos were not a reflection of that weight loss.

Crystal Renn became an international sensation after she went against the size zero phenomenon in the fashion industry. She was asked to lose one-third of her body weight to get into the fashion industry. The extreme weight loss caused a large number of health problems and she embraced the plus size ever since.
