Los Angeles, May 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Crystal Bowersox is the runner-up of this season’s “American Idol”. This however is not the only reason why the girl is in news today. It has been reported that Crystal Bowersox has split from her boyfriend Tony Kusian. The decision was mutual, says the “American Idol” contender. Speaking to the media after the finale episode, Crystal Bowersox says that they both are grown-up individuals who have taken the decision to part ways because one cannot match up to the lifestyle of the other.

She made it clear that while her boyfriend was still stuck up in his small town days, Crystal Bowersox has moved on and after the “American Idol” phase in her life she would want nothing else but to pursue her big dreams. According to reports Crystal Bowersox is at present more interested in making a career in music for herself than be concerned about her personal life. However, Crystal Bowersox is also saddened by the fact that their split had to come on the performance day, a day that was so important in her life.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest and Kara DioGuardi after the results for the ninth season of “American Idol” were declared, the runner up admitted that the split had come in the very morning of the final performance. So Crystal Bowersox not only lost the ultimate title on the day but also lost her boyfriend. It seems that Tony Kusian moved away because he could not accept his girlfriend being so famous. The couple are still friends though. Crystal Bowersox has a child from a previous marriage with a man also named Tony.
