Crystal Bowersox Performs “UP To The Mountain”, Leaves Judges Spellbound

258New York, May 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Crystal Bowersox depicted her talents of being a great recording star as she performed “Up To The Mountain” on “American Idol” Tuesday night. She also said that she has plans to release the single if she emerges a winner. She started off sitting on the stool with her guitar and within a few minutes she had all notes right in place and it seemed that the song perfectly fitted her frame.

“Up To The Mountain” which happens to be written by Patty Griffin has been performed on the American Idol stage numerous times. The last time when this tune was heard was way back in the year of 2007 when Jeff Beck and Kelly Clarkson performed the song at “Idol Gives Back” charity. After that Susan Boyle too included this song in her debut album “I Dreamed A Dream”.

The judges were all in praises for Crystal Bowersox at the end of her performance. Ellen DeGeneres said “You are in a league of your own”. Randy Jackson called her performance to be an amazing one and that she makes him feel very proud. Even Simon Cowell who is known to be one of the most unsparing critics of all time on American Idol, called her performance to be “outstanding”. Reportedly, Simon Cowell is leaving the American Idol and headed towards Fox Channel where he will act as a coordinator for an upcoming talent show called “The X Factor”. He said that this is last comment on any performance in American Idol and that Crystal Bowersox had made this moment a special one with her astounding voice and intriguing singing.
