The “American Idol” Season 9 runner-up is all set to release her album on December 14 and the singer made an appearance on “The Tonight Show” on Friday night and sang a single from his upcoming debut album “Farmer’s Daughter.” The track rendered by the singer surely wowed the audience with its wonderful tune and commendable lyrics. The singer said that she has written the title track of the album and thanked all her fans for their love and support which helped her to build her career.

Crystal Bowersox’s latest single from her album has become a hugely popular on the Internet and the netizens are scrambling on web to hear the song before its official release. The singer says that the title track of her album delves deep into her childhood when she was abused as a child. Some sources are of the opinion that Crystal Bowersox had to lift croons and also was forced to live on streets before she took part in “American Idol”.

Crystal Bowersox’s upcoming album “Farmer’s Daughter” consists of twelve tracks and ten of them are written by the singer herself. Critics say that the songs are really commendable as they showcase her songwriting skills and reflect her potential as a songwriter. The “Farmer’s Daughter” mainly deals with her childhood and her growing up with alcoholic and abusive parents. While speaking about her album, Crystal Bowersox said that the listeners would get to know majority of her personal life through the songs. She said that the album is her story and she is happy to share it with everyone.
