London, July 13 (IANS) Pop star Kylie Minogue says she can’t take criticism and feels dejected when she reads poor reviews of her songs.
“It cuts like a knife if I read a bad review. But in the end, how the album in received in the press won’t make any difference to me - I’d still come back,” said Minogue.
Contactmusic.com reports that the 42-year-old Australian singer, whose new album “Aphrodite” hit the top of the British charts Sunday, says she gives more importance to her listeners’ reviews and response.
“A few thousand people in a room sharing two or three hours together - when all the other stuff gets too complex to understand, that’s a really good place to bring it back to,” she said.
