Crawford begins intense dance training for Footloose remake

London, Aug 5 (ANI):
Gossip Girl star Chase Crawford has started training for his upcoming movie, a
remake of the 1984 classic Footloose, where he plays the role of Ren McCormack,
originally played by Kevin Bacon.
The shooting for the movie
is slated to begin next year but Crawford has already hired a trainer to learn
just the right dance steps, reports the Daily Star.
Crawford was quoted by
Britain’s Glamour magazine as saying: “We don’t start shooting until
March, but I started getting into some training. I’m going to need the whole
nine months to really get to where I need to be.”
“I have some movement and I’m really happy to
learn a lot of new stuff, but I’m counting on the magical editing to make me
look really good! But they put me through a screen test, which was pretty
rigorous, so I must have the foundation for it,” he added. (ANI)
