Cradle Of Filth release new video
September 30th, 2010 - 12:52 pm ICT by Sampurn WireSeptember 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): “Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned)”, is the new released video from UK based extreme metal band CRADLE OF FILTH. The video is directed by Dani Jacobs, who formerly worked with band on the “Nymphetamine” video. He has also worked with artists like PHIL COLLINS, THE CORRS and MOBY.
“Forgive Me Father (I Have Sinned)” is a single from CRADLE OF FILTH’s ninth studio album called “Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa”. The album would be released on the first of November via Peaceville Records and on the band’s very own AbraCadaver imprint. The albu, would see the light of the day on the 9th of November in North America and would be released by Nuclear Blast Records.
“Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa” is, according to the enigmatic frontman of the band the fastest and sonically most brutal album from the band till date.
He further adds that this album is the most sinister album from the band so far. The album rides on a particular gothic horror theme that relies on perversion to enthrall the senses of the listener.
The magnificent orchestral arrangements however add another dimension, to this already brutal album; this contrast actually is what makes the album stand out. The album features a cauldron of ferocious riffs, skin-blasting drumming and mind-numbingly strong and cinematic vocals.
