courtney_love Los Angeles, Feb 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Courtney Love was slapped with a restraining order, against contacting her daughter, and the restraining order has been further extended till the 10th of April. Courtney Love cannot get in touch with her 17 year old Frances Bean Cobain, whose father is the Nirvana legend Kurt Cobain.

It may be recalled that Courtney Love had lost the custody of her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain in mid-December. A judge had appointed Frances’ paternal grandmother and aunt as her temporary guardians. Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain prefers to live with her grandmother, rather than her rock star mother Courtney, after the untimely demise of her father.

According to reports, Wendy O’Connor, Cobain’s mother, and Kimberly Cobain, his sister, have been appointed temporary guardians of Frances and her estate. They will be in charge of her education, living situation and health care, until Love regains custody or she ceases to be a minor.

It seems that Frances Bean isn’t very close to her mother, told Harper’s Bazaar magazine that she doesn’t want to live in the shadow of her famous parents forever. “I get it, I really do,” she said. “But at the same time it’s creepy. These people are fascinated by me, but I haven’t done anything. If you’re a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I’m not my parents.”
