Courtney Love files countersuit over American Express credit
January 2nd, 2010 - 5:16 pm ICT by ANIWashington, January 2 (ANI): Rocker Courtney Love has filed a countersuit against American Express, claiming the company issued a “massive” number of cards in her name without her knowledge or consent.
The wife of late Nirvana star Kurt Cobain was sued by AmEx who alleged that the actress owed 352,059.67 dollars in unpaid charges.
And now, according to legal papers, the 45-year-old musician has countered the suit with allegations that the organisation is guilty of sloppy business practices, reports TMZ.
Courtney’s legal team claim 104 credit cards were issued under her name and that she did not make a single one of the charges in question.
She is now reportedly suing AmEx for an undisclosed amount along with interest. (ANI)
