Court Upholds Tax Sentence Of Wesley Snipes

July 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Recently, it has been found out that a certain centralized panel for appeals has upheld a tax sentence of Hollywood action star, Wesley Snipes. This was a three-year prison sentence on the federal tax charges. Snipes hadn’t been paying them completely and sincerely.
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals based in the US city of Atlanta, concluded Friday that the judge in charge would appropriately slam a three-years in federal prison case against Snipes. The lawyers and the attorneys representing Wesley said that such a decision was unnecessary and absolutely out of the context.
They also added that the sentence must be granted a hearing so as to come to a decision if the legal trial for him, be held in New York as an alternative to Florida.
A jury had convicted Snipes in the year 2008 of a total of three misconducts; all pertaining to the unruly failure to file the returns for the income tax. The attorney of Snipes did not remark on the case right away.
If found guilty, the star of such movies like Passenger 57 and Blade can spend three years of his life behind bars. In Blade Wesley played a vampire hunter, it’s a pity that he couldn’t abide by the federal tax norms. He himself is now “hunted’ and haunted by the court of law!
