Court rules that Jerome Young cant sell Terri Runnels’ pics
August 17th, 2011 - 11:46 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattSanford, Aug 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A judge has ruled that Terri Runnels’ former boyfriend Jerome Young, popularly known as New Jack, cannot go ahead and sell the explicit pictures of the former wrestler; at least for now. The judge has scheduled the 24th of August to give her verdict on whether the images can be sold.
Circuit Judge Linda Schoonover gave a temporary restraining order to prevent Jack from selling the pictures. Jack had argued that he took the pictures with his mobile phone and as a result have the final say on how he wants to use it.
The standup comedian was involved in a relationship with Terri until the relationship ended this summer. The relationship lasted for a year and a half but the breakup was very ugly.
Terri has accused Jack of making defamatory remarks about her on his Facebook account. Among other things, Terri claims that Jack has inferred on his Facebook page that she had sexually transmitted diseases. She has since sued Jack for defaming her and urged the court to block Jack from selling her nude pictures.
Jack plans to petition the court to reschedule next week’s hearing because he claims that he has a standup comedy scheduled for the same day.
