The news that the much acclaimed country musician would be performing at the musical extravaganza has come as a pleasant surprise for all his followers who are now eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of Willie Nelson’s performance at the event.

The Glastonbury Festival, which is scheduled to be held later in the month of June, would witness the presence of a huge array of musicians who be gracing the musical event. Apart from Willie Nelson, the other musical artist who are set to perform at the event include Stevie Wonder, Muse, U2, Snoop Dog, Faithless, among others. The names that have been associated with the musical extravaganza surely highlights the fact that the Glastonbury Festival is going to be any music lovers dream come true. It has been reported that Willie Nelson would be taking the stage on June 25 with Snoop Dog, Vampire Weekend, U2 also joining him the same day.

Michael Eavis, who is the organizer of the musical event has described the lineup for the festival as ’staggering’ and has further revealed that the stunning lineup is to match up with the 40th anniversary of the event.
