Los Angeles, May 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ladies beware, marrying someone you are older than, can be costly for your life. New findings by German researchers shows that women who marry men they are younger to, have up to thirty percent risk of dying young. The same research also found that there is a very good news for men who marry young ladies. The report found out that men who have married women way younger than themselves, have their lives prolonged.

The analysis was done on the marriage and death records of the Dutch men and women. The trend found out that men who had married women who are seven to nine years younger than them, are seven percent less likely to die early.

Some celebrity cougars are Demi Moore and Courtney Cox. Demi Moore is married to a 32-year-old Ashton Kutcher, and Demi Moore is 47 years old. Courtney is seven years older than her film star husband - David Arquette.

The report says the higher the age difference between the man and the wife, the lower is the woman’s life expectancy. In trying to explain this trend, one of the researcher’s Sven Drefahl said the women who marry younger men suffer from social sanctions, which puts more stress on them, so they die early.
