kori Mar 11 (Pen Men at Work): Even as the world is struggling to accept the fact that Corey Haim is no more, following a drug overdose on Wednesday, details of the ‘80s star’s rumored projects come out one after the other. Haim had apparently been working on different kinds of films as not just an actor but also a director – from political films to slasher films.

Here are a few of his finished, unfinished, never filmed and rumored projects.

The Throwaways – Haim was set to direct and star in this thriller about how a number of homeless people go missing. Writer/producer Eric Goren was sympathetic towards Haim’s family for the loss but also promised that the film would be made with another director.

A Detour in Life – Haim was the producer, director and lead actor of this coming-of-age flick.

The Science of Cool – This comedy film was in its pre-production stage and would have had Haim playing a janitor.

Ratred 3D – This film, about a religious cult murdering people in a village, was to start filming around the end of July/August.

SAD (Standard American Diet) – An Anti-FDA piece about the American diet, this movie would have had Haim playing a chemical engineer.

The Vegetarian Hunter – A romantic comedy whose script Haim had been impressed by.

The Pick Up – A psychological thriller, this movie was to be shot in Louisiana with Haim playing a slasher.

Decisions – This one is being called Haim’s last film and will be releasing around April. It has him playing a troubled policeman.

American Sunset – This flick will be releasing in late 2010. The trailers for it are already out and it is touted as “Corey Haim’s big comeback to movies”.

The Dead Sea – A band of soldiers trapped on a naval vessel that’s filled with zombies is what this flick’s about. However, it is unrevealed as to how many scenes of this film Haim shot for.

Corey was an amazing and talented actor. We had just offerd him a major role in our upcoming major theatrical project “The Land Of No Return” and his agent Mark Heaslip was excited about the role.
