Apr 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) For several week before his death, Corey Haim was doing what the attorney general of California called “Doctor Shopping.” Haim was able to obtain 553 pills of very strong prescription medications by going to seven different doctors to get the prescriptions for the pills and seven different pharmacies to fill those prescriptions. In the last days of Corey’s life. 195 Valium pills, 194 tablets of Soma, 149 tablets of Vicodin and 15 tablets of Xanax were collected by the actor, according to a report. The database will tell every prescription that a person has obtained, and although doctors do have access, it is not mandatory for them to check it. Corey had been fighting his addictions since he was 15 year old. He lost that fight on March 10, 2010.
