Corey Feldman: There would be no public memorial for Corey Haim

Los Angeles, Apr 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Corey Feldman wrote on his blog that there would be no public memorial for Corey Haim, because that is his mother’s wish. He also reveals that Haim’s mother – Judy Haim came to this difficult decision after weeks of planning and thinking about it. And in place of the public memorial, they would have a private dinner for a small group of friends. He also wrote on his blog that Judy Haim took the difficult decision because she is heartbroken by her son’s demise, and she would not be able to celebrate Corey Haim’s life in a public memorial, at this point of time.
“Now I must be the bearer of some very disappointing news to many of you out there. After weeks of consideration and planning, the ultimate decision has been made by Corey’s mother Judy Haim to not go forward with a public memorial service. Instead we will have a very small private dinner with just a few close friends in L.A. Her reasoning for this is that she is in tremendous grief and feels that to create an event celebrating Corey’s life would be too much for her to bear at this time.”
Corey Haim used to act a lot with Corey Feldman and soon the duo was nicknamed ‘The Two Coreys’. Both of them had also acted in the TV reality show called by the same name – The Two Coreys. This reality show used to air on the A&E network for around a year (2007-2008). Corey Haim and Corey Feldman also acted in a movie together, which was titled the ‘The Lost Boys.’
