corey3Los Angeles, March 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Corey Feldman seemed not only sad due to his co-star Corey Haim’s demise recently but also appeared angry as he appeared in the show “Larry King Live”. The star reportedly complained about the fans of Corey Haim and the whole Hollywood showbiz industry. He said that he is “angry, hurt and sad” on the general public for secluding Corey Haim at the time of his distress.

In the show, Corey Feldman complained that the fans who poured condolence messages after the death of Corey Haim were missing when he was alive. He complained that those people who are coming now with their sympathy did not support or stand beside the teen idol when he needed them. Corey Haim for the last fifteen years was suffering from drug abuse. On the show Corey Feldman said that the general public at the troubled time of the deceased actor should have helped by providing moral boost by praising him for being a wonderful human being who had never caused any harm to anybody except to himself.

Corey Feldman also complained and criticized the Hollywood film industry. The star reportedly said that the industry rears a person to become a star and then as the person starts loosing the stardom it kicks it off from the world of showbiz. He went on to say that even the fans then start looking down upon the star whom they have once held as an icon. He also mentioned that the public should not conclude the actor’s death is caused due to drug overdose. He suggested reportedly that it might have been caused by the new medication that Corey Haim had switched to recently.

He was a big time looser.. get over it.. He will not be missed by anyone..He had more than one chance to clean up his act. he was a fame whore and could not live without the attention.. RIP

  2. HS Says:

I agree with you ms…..He was famous as a teen, but he just wasn’t good enough of an actor to keep acting. And, as for Corey Feldman who says he was his family, brother and best friend until he died…..well where was he and his mom!!!!!!!!

  3. nj Says:

    Sorry Feldman,
I dont feel sorry for any drug user/abuser, even you kicked him to the curb becoz of your wife.
    No Sympathy from me

  4. Bg Says:

    I agree with ms..Poor guy..had a self-induced drug problem..Wah Wah…Nobody to blame but himself.

  5. Keith Says:

Sucks that he wasted his life, Is it wrong to assume his death was overdose - maybe - but the odds are that it was - based on HIS past history. I’m sure he has let a lot of people down over the years and they had turned their back on him - that’s HIS fault - RIP Mr Haim - you struggles are over

  6. Jake Says:

Corey Haim was one of the few actors who took roles that you could actually let your kids watch. He entertained us with his talent and should be honored for it.
He was lucky to have a friend like Mr Feldman who knew the man better than anyone and was his friend. A true friend.

  7. Jake Says:

Preliminaries say pulmonary congestion; not a drug overdose killed Corey Haim. He had an enlarged heart.

  8. chilcopch Says:

Wow! Not much respect here for a fellow human being. If you have not had addiction to touch your lives in some way then just hang on because its only a matter of time. Corey Feldman is mourning his best friend whom he loved very much. You have to remember that Feldman suffers from the same addiction. Diabetes, Hypertension, and High Cholesterol are all caused by different factors in our bodies the same way some people are more apt to becoming an addict after one time vs someone who can do it all day long and lay itdown whenever. Thats one thing that is wrong with this world there is no respect anymore for anyone.I do feel sorry for the family of Mr. Haim and Mr.Feldman I hope that he can find something or someone potive to turn to during this hard time. We dont know what its like to walk in his shoes and I for one do not think you should kick a man when he is down. God Bless everyone affected by this loss and if you need someone to talk to its a matter of using the space between your knees and the floor.PRAY!!!

  9. Cg Says:

Really?! I can’t believe some of these posts. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Haim was a person, a person with problems. Don’t we all have problems? We all deserve a second chance.

  10. tp Says:

really people die everyday and its all sad but just because someone was once popular we are all supposed to run to help them out. im sorry cory f showbiz is the way it is you should know that cause you are now a c or d list star where were you thats right kicking your friend outta your home did you give him any $$$$ of yours or go to his home prob not so stop pointing the finger

  11. d salinas Says:

Shame on all of you for posting ugly comments on a person you did not personally know. He was a great actor. We should not judge as we are nobody to judge.
May his mother and family find peace and comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. God bless his family.

  12. M. Greg Feinman Says:

Corey Haim was a good actor and a good man. Corey was a human being with a big problem and didn’t deserve what happened to him. I too can’t believe some of these posts and how unsympathetic they are. I think the world lost another good human being due to drugs. It is a shame and his freinds will truley miss him as I will too.

  13. Jim Says:

I never herd of any of these guys….

  14. DCKD Says:

Do I think Hollywood built him up then threw him away. YES! But I also think his true fans never left him. It is hard to stay a fan when you havent done anything current in a long while. I also think you can’t save people. The drug abuse thing is something every person has to get through themselves. Ohterwise you are just enableing them to keep doing it. Maybe He did die because of bad perscription interaction. But you cannot say the drug abuse did not contribute to weaking his body over time. If people are writing to say its tragic when someone so young loses thier life it is. Who is feldman to say what is right or wrong and where were these people. You can’t be a fan of someone who is no longer on the map. Grow up feldman and mourn your friend privately, stop using this as a way to get back into the spotlight. You should be ashamed. Not people posting thier condolences.

  15. jojo Says:

So, my brother, we has been a long suffering addict would have been cured by fans - If only I had known that before he overdosed. People need to be responsible for themselves, and their loved ones - Where was this young man’s family?

  16. Cg Says:

No one looks good under a microscope, remember that!

  17. Mjke Says:

Corey was a young man who was lost On his journey to discover who he was and where he fit in. On the way he was side tracked. Corey Feldman is on the same journey. He is angry because now he is alone. The only person who knew him and would listen and console him is gone. He is alone. His anger because his best friend died and left him behind. He just needs to vent and have a really good cry.

  18. Darius Bush Says:

Corey was a great actor- I do not beleive that he was a loser at all !! He struggled with the drugs and tried to get himself clean. I have been a fan since a child, and now im 31. I do beleive that Hollywood can be some BS’ers. The minute an icon seems to fall off, they start kicking you to the curb and writing terrible things about you. Their focus is on dumb sh!T !! and not trying to help the situation. R.I.P Corey- you will be missed by me..

  19. tazz Says:

Wow! I loved his movies when he was a kid–he had the look and everything. Corey Feldman, go sit down somewhere–your six minutes was over a log time ago. Puhleeze!

  20. jamstan Says:

Feldman needs to STFU. Most “fans” didn’t even know Haim had a drug problem and, even if they did, It wasn’t their responsibility to baby-sit the man. Geez, do you think Feldman went on King’s show for free? Feldman’s an idiot. If anyone could have helped Haim it was Feldman, his self-proclaimed “best friend” yet he blames everyone else.

  21. Don Says:

    who cares!

  22. Jon Says:

Sincere condolences to the family. However, this is just a pampered actor defending another pampered actor.

Nothing good comes from drug abuse but your average joe gets little to no special support from society if they have a drug problem. Ultimately it’s up to the individual who got themselves into trouble with drugs in the first place. Hopefuly family and friends can support but thats all it is, support.

Expecting fans to help bring him through his troubles is such a push. It’s great if it happens but expecting it to happen? That is so hollywood.

  23. Teresa Holden Says:

I am a 39 yr old mother of two son’s 20 and 13 and have shared his movies with my son’s and disagree with all of you.He was very talented and a great person, but was preyed on by the same people that prey on famous people.Maybe if someone said something nice to him when he was here,he could have overcome his problems. He needed someone to say hey you are a good person and so talented and I love you!People are too quick to judge,I will continue to love him as a person and an actor. Judge least you be judged. We will miss you Corey,I hope you have found the peace that you so desperatly looked for in life.

  24. tp Says:

So Teresa you knew him personaly. Prob not. Just cause you watched someone in a movie or movies does not mean you KNOW that person at all. So before you judge all anyone else stop and think who are you judging with your comments

  25. Teresa Holden Says:

No I did not,but watched him hurt by the things that people said about him, when he went on a blog on the internet, when he was struggling on the two coreys and it broke my heart.Maybe if the people that had bad things to say would have thought before they typed what they did,he would be here today, words hurt.I am not judging anyone, that is not my place.

  26. Teresa Holden Says:

Go on youtube and watch the two coreys and see if it affects you the way it did me and yes,Corey Feldman did try to reach out to him,so many times, but it was not him that Corey wanted to hear from it was us the fans that he so desperatly wanted to please.I just said think before you say something that will affect someones life. God bless both Coreys!

  27. Jon Says:

    Theresa,
Blaming the public for his problems is seriously off base. Entitlement mentality is only worse for the entitled.

In the end we are all responsible for ourselves. We all have a choice, wallow in our misery or pick ourselves up and keep trying. It’s nice if you have people to help you along the way but it’s not mandatory and certainly isn’t a public responsibilty for a pampered actor.

It’s too bad what happened to him but he did it to himself. The public had nothing to do with it. And if they did he let it happen. Once again, it’s all on him and that was what the article was about.

  28. tp Says:

I’m really sorry I watched that two coreys when it was on TV and its not fair to blame the fans for his demise. His best friend tried and tried and now its blame the fans who turned their back on him. Umm no he messed up his career was over and fan base gone why becasue he was USING and screwed it up for himself. This is why people do not take any responsiblity for their own actions. Corey H did this to Corey H not nameless fans which is easier to blame.

  29. Teresa Says:

No the fans are not to blame at all, because they would have never said anything to hurt him.It is the people that just wanted to hurt the fans and him.Did you even see the episode where he posted his comeback ad.Yes it did hurt him, when his assistant read the mean things that people said about him, broke my hurt, you could just see the pain it caused him.I know not everyone is going to love you,but come on.What happened to if you do not have something nice to say don’t say anything.I know he had a problem and it is said, but til you walk a mile in someone elses shoes,do not judge them.It is extremly hard to be famous and would never want to go through what they go through.Yes it is up to us all to make our lives better, but do not kick someone when their down.He was trying hard to make a change in his life!

  30. Jon Says:

So Theresa, does he have any responsibilty for himself?

  31. tp Says:

Noone here is kicking anyone but come one its so hard ot be famous listen to yourself. its so hard to have those opportunities tat very few have and throw it all away cause lets face he was a junky. Please don’t tell me to walk in anyone’s shoes cause I would have but I wouldnt have wound up with 50 pills in me laying on the floor like that. He put hinmself in the position to have people say those mean things about his and his comeback. NOONE ELSE

  32. Teresa Says:

What I mean is,that the world today holds the people that are famous at a higher standard than the general public and they can not even walk out there door without being watched every little thing they do.Yes they choose it,but why do we expect so much more from them than we expect from other people.People make mistakes and yes he did make mistakes, but he was trying to come back from all of it and people just would not accept him for who he was. Then there are the people that prey on famous people, and get them all the drugs they want. They befriend them and make them think it is okay to do these thing, they would never tell them to stop, because they are using them.I am just broken hearted for all of the loss of so much talent lately, from the same thing.Would you say the same thing about Heath Ledger? So yes he did have responsibility, but it helps to have positive words spoken to you, rather than someone saying you are worthless. No one is worthless,we all have value! I would not want to be famous or have anyone else that I know be famous in this day and age, because it is very hard. How would you like to walk out the door in sweats to here someone say you are gaining weight or something is wrong with you, because you do not look like you do in the movie you did,or have you family hurt by things people say.I just think that this world is so full of hate and no one cares about anyone, but themselves anymore.Where is the love for human kind that we use to have?

  33. Jon Says:

In the USA we all chose our path in this world regardless of what some will tell you. I don’t ask anyone to feel sorry for me on the decisions i’ve made and i tend not to feel sorry for others on the decisions they have made. Feeling empathy for them, which i usually do, is not the same thing.

Corey H made his choices, no one held a gun to his head and made him become what he chose.

Your heart bleeds for the guy. Fine, mine doesn’t. It would if he were forced into the situation he was in but he wasn’t.

The article being discussed here was blaming the public (fans) for Corey H’s demise. They were the least at fault in the situation at hand.

You want a role model to look up to? Look to our military personnel serving in harms way. We are losing them every day. Regardless of what you say now i seriously doubt you will make the connection i’m trying to help you make here.

Which is very sad to me.

  34. Teresa Says:

I fully understand what you are talking about, but it is not Corey Haim that blamed the fans,it is Corey Feldman.Like a lot of young people,Corey got involved with the wrong crowd.Yes,we all have a choice, but we all do not have people that want to ride on our shirt tales,to get something from us.Famous people have a hard time telling who their true friends are.I think what Corey Feldman was talking about are the people that just wanted what they could get from him and the ones that wanted to put him down and after all they are only human, and have feelings just like anyone of us.When someone says something to you,it hurts whether you are famous or not.I do have heros in the military, both my nephews and a nephew in-law,that I am so very proud of.I also have a son that dealt with the same thing in his life and yes he did come through it.So I guess that is why I feel for him because I see the good that he had in him.He was a kind hearted person and I can not see saying something to someone that would hurt them so badly. You see we all have a choice on what type of person we choose to be and I choose to see the good in a person, not pick the bad things that they have done and tear them down,so badly that they start believing that they are worthless.Yes drugs are very bad and I do not see any difference between illegal drugs and prescription drugs. This world we live in is oblivious to the problem that we have with all these so called prescription drugs that are over prescribed and way to easy to get a hold of.You take someone that had an addiction problem and put them on pills that are very addictive,it is a problem.I could go on forever about that but I won’t.All I am saying,he was very talented, his acting proved that and it is sad that his life ended far too soon.Regardless of what bad things have been said on here about him,he will be missed,it is too bad that he did not see all the love when he was here,it might have made a difference!
