August 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The goddess Gefion, as per the Nordic mythology, happens to be the goddess of fertility. Legend has it that she gave birth to one of the very first shows during the Danish Fashion Week of the year 2010. The CPH Vision Show was held at the gorgeous Gefion Fountain right in the Port of Copenhagen.

It was heavily raining, however it seemed that the one up above had empathized with the people waiting in the rain, and the sky brightened and it stopped raining. The guests soon got inside and had their seats.

The view was covered by the picturesque fountain and it was marvelous when the models started to step out from behind the fountain, with the music. They eventually walked down the runway as “The Queen of the Night’ from the opera “The Magic Flute’, was played.

The models waved and blew kisses to the people who had shown up to watch this extravagant display of fashion.

The models wore wavy dresses and ribboned straw hats. Their outlook and attire gave the public, an image of an 18th century picnic, however things became more contemporary as there were models in small bathing suits and revolutionary sunglasses walking to the beat of modern electronic music.
