Cooking makes Gwyneth Paltrow feel closer to dad
July 10th, 2010 - 11:52 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, July 10 (IANS) Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow loves to cook as it makes her feel “closer” to her late father.
In the introduction to her new cookbook, “My Father’s Daughter”, the actress writes: “I always feel closest to my father, who was the love of my life until his death in 2002, when I am in the kitchen.”
“I can still hear him over my shoulder heckling me, telling me to be careful with my knife, moaning with pleasure over a bite of something in only the way a Jew from Long Island can,” reported dailystar.co.uk.
The actress was left devastated when her father Bruce Paltrow lost his battle with oral cancer in 2002.
Paltrow’s recipe book will be released April 2011.
