New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): Noted designer Anamika Khanna showcased her colourful collection on the first day of ‘Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week’.

The gala fashion event commenced on Saturday.

Top of the line models sashayed down the ramp wearing ensembles in colour texture of black, white and blue to showcase Anamika’s Spring Summer ‘10 Collection.

The collections boasted of an edgy and eclectic take on Indian sensibilities and craft. It was dedicated to the bold and adventurous women.

The collection was a compilation of broad pants, drape easy pieces contrasted with deconstructed structure, skinny leggings and layers.

“Collection was suitable for summers. Chiffons, muslins and georgettes were the main fabrics and we have also used summer silks,” said Anamika.

The current ‘Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week’ will witness 110 designers displaying their collection by over 48 models displaying their creations.

The 14th edition of India’s biggest fashion trade event will culminate on October 28. (ANI)
