Oct 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The contestants for the fourth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ has finally been revealed. The season premiere of the reality show was aired on Colors on October 3 and show host and ‘Dabangg’ star Salman Khan introduced the audience to the 14 contestants who will be staying together at the Bigg Boss house. The show this year has received a huge amount of hype not only due to Salman Khan’s hosting it but also speculations of some real life criminals being brought in the mix with Bollywood actors and TV personalities. The season premiere did not disappoint the fans as former convicts like Bunty Chor and Seema Parihar were introduced to the audience. Among some of the names seen on the big screen there is Ashmit Patel of ‘Murder’ fame and the Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwary.

The guest list for this year’s ‘Bigg Boss’ promises some great reality drama as evident from the first episode. The season premiere also had some fabulous performances by the previous seasons’ contestants that included the ravishing Rakhi Sawant who grooved the current chart topper ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’. Shweta Tiwary, whose former husband Raja Chaudhary appeared in a previous season, also performed on the ‘Bigg Boss 4′ stage.

Salman Khan who takes over the role of host from the legendary Bollywood filmstar Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Bigg Boss 4′ spoke about the show before the season premiere and said that he will try to bring in his own element into the show which will be different from previous hosts like Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi or Shilpa Shetty. He also brushed aside all comparisons with the ‘Deewar’ legend and said that comparisons would only have arisen if actors like Vinod Khanna or Shatrughan Sinha would have hosted the show.
