Conrad Murray Trial: Photos of dead Michael Jackson shown to court
October 12th, 2011 - 7:20 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The trial of Dr. Conrad Murray continued on Tuesday with the prosecutors showing the court naked pictures of Michael Jackson just after he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the pop singer. He could be jailed up to four years if he is found guilty. He also risks losing his medical practice license.
During the hearing on Tuesday, the prosecutors called the pathologist who carried out the autopsy on Michael Jackson’s body. Dr. Christopher Rogers testified that contrary to the defense team’s argument that Jackson gave himself the deadly dose of the propofol, his findings didn’t suggest that the singer was an abuser of prescription medication.
According to Rogers, Jackson looked healthier in the inside of his body than most of the other people in his age group.
The prosecution also played the tape of Murray’s investigation with the police to the jury. In the interview, Murray basically told the police that Jackson was seeing other doctors that he was not aware of.
Murray pointed out Jackson’s former dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, as one of the doctors who would prescribe medications to the singer without his (Murray) knowledge.
