Connie HinesDec.23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems to be a sad ending of 2009 literally, where three-well-known celebrities have died within a span of days. First came the news of the death of Brittany Murphy, which was followed by the death of Alaina Reed-Amini. On 23nd Dec, the world mourns the death of Connie Hines, at the age of 78. According to Alan Young, the star died due to heart problems at her Beverly Hills house. The death occurred Friday night.

Connie Hines was an actress and was a regular face on the TV sets, as she appeared in the popular TV show- ‘Mister Ed’. The actress played the wife of Wilbur on the show that was quite popular in the 1960s. She was known as her character-Carol Post, and even went on to write a book later on named ‘Mr Ed and Me and More’. Her other career ventures included appearing on other TV shows such as ‘the Millionaire’, ‘Johnny Ringo’ and ‘Riverboat’. With ‘Thunder in Carolina’ she delved in a film career too, which released in the 1960s.

Her co-stars including Alan Young (Mister Ed), expressed their grief to the media and said that he had now lost ‘a great friend’ and that Connie Hines was a ‘very joyous person’. Alan Young, seems to have played a big role in her life, who has been with her in all her ups-and downs. The star had been married twice and her last husband had died in 1995. After her second marriage, the couple moved to Dana point on Alan Young’s recommendations, where the deceased took to hosting an animal show. Her parents both belonged to the entertainment industry.

The picture is not that of Connie Hines, the actress. Don’t you people even know how to use Google?

She didn’t die on a Friday night. Buy a 2009 calendar. They should be cheap now.
