September 27, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Melissa Rycroft has seen it all, from ‘Dancing With The Stars’ to ‘The Bachelor’. However, she was in for the biggest surprise of her life when it came to the sex of her unborn baby.

They had been tremendously excited on receiving the first report and went back again a few weeks later only to hear something totally contrasting in nature revealed the Bachelor pad host. She was speaking at the ‘Juno Baby Celebrity’ launch at New York and went on to add that they hoped to get a cent percent confirmation within a week or two.

Rycroft and husband Tye Strickland have recently moved into a new home in Dallas and she has already started taking some time out for her baby. She discloses that the entire experience feels kind of surreal but she sure is having fun with the new world of impending ‘Mommyhood’. Both the elated parents to be are now actively engaged in preparing the nursery for the baby.

Her rigorous workouts had to be relegated to the backseat for now too, she said. She also believes that the kid inside her tells her when he/she is tired or when he/she doesn’t want her to exercise vigorously.

Her husband, Strickland believes in making her comfortable too. It is not only the back and foot rubs that he gives her regularly, his sweet compliments for the mama of his baby keeps her going too. He does not get through the day without telling her that she is skinny revealed Melissa Rycroft.
