Apr 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of much acclaimed television host Conan O’Brien would be in for a huge treat this weekend when the former “The Tonight Show” presenter would appear in his first television interview since his departure from the NBC show. The comedian would appear in a candid conversation with Steve Kroft on CBS’ “60 Minutes” in an episode which is all set to air this Sunday.
Anticipation has been running extremely high among all Conan O’Brien fans since it has come to light that the 47 year old noted television host would be appearing in the CBS newsmagazine. In the interview, the popular television personality is expected to shed light into the reasons which propelled him to leave the NBC show after “The Tonight Show” was rescheduled half an hour later in the midnight slot.
At the same time, Conan O’Brien is likely to reveal details about the new late night show deal that he is supposedly working on with TBS. However, it has been stated that the television host would not be seen in the advance promos of the CBS show owing to his contract with NBC which specifies that he cannot appear in print or electronic media until May 1. CBS officials have divulged that in the promos the face of the television presenter may be blanked out so that the terms of the contract are not violated.
Although Conan O’Brien is supposedly prohibited from using any unflattering words about NBC or Jay Leno, Steve Kroft has revealed to a news source that in the interview the popular television host ‘flirts’ with the restrictions.
