Conan O’Brien Signs Off The Tonight Show With ‘Freebird’

conan-freebird1Los Angeles, Jan 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Conan O’Brien, a late night show host of NBC network, who has gained immense popularity in around seven months of his tenure, has ultimately cut ties with the channel. As expected, some of the renowned celebrities of the entertainment industry had graced the last episode of the show. The host Conan O’Brien, who has entertained the audiences for several months signed off from the show with the track, “Freebird“.

As per the reports, Conan O’Brien thanked his viewers and expressed his gratitude towards the television network. In the later part of the show, he said, “I am enormously proud of the work we have done together, and I want to thank NBC for making all it possible.” The host, who had made some offensive comments against the network in the last few episodes was in a pleasant mood in the final episode. He interacted with his guests on the last episode of the show and even joined Will Ferrell in the rendition of the track, ‘Freebird’.

To arouse laughter among the fans, Will Ferrell, who was one of the honored guests of the last episode of the show portrayed himself as Johnny Van Zant, the singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd and performed on the track, ‘Freebird’. To make the sign off ceremony memorable, Conan O’Brien, joined him in the performance and was seen playing guitar on the stage. The sudden decision of the host to quit the show for the change of timing has made his fans upset yet they expect to see him shortly in some other program.
