The producers of the show – 19 Entertainment want the noted comedian and the axed Tonight show host to appear on its special Idol Gives Back on the 21st of April. But alas, Conan won’t be able to be a part of the show, even if he wants to as part of his severance agreement with NBC, he is barred from being on TV till the 1st of May 2010. Even though there have been no actual confirmations from either side, yet reposts suggest that Conan’s representatives are also having discussions and meetings with Fox officials so as to make the deal a reality. They want to adjust Conan in the 11 pm to midnight slot, which is currently occupied by The Office reruns, and its ratings are also satisfactory at the moment.
